Kristina Ferguson LAC

Kristina believes that life is full of both expected and unexpected challenges, and that seeking support, while not always easy, can be a powerful step toward growth and healing. She strives to create a collaborative, supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel encouraged, respected, and empowered throughout their journey.

Kristina works with adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, OCD, ADHD, relationship and family stress, women’s issues, and life transitions. She believes each person already holds many strengths, and therapy can provide a space to identify, build upon, and lean into those strengths while working toward meaningful goals.

Her therapeutic style is individualized, integrative, and evidence-based, with a strong foundation in a Person-Centered approach. Kristina incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and has completed advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She helps clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical skills for navigating difficult experiences and moving toward the things that matter most to them.

Kristina also supports individuals with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), helping clients better understand the OCD cycle, navigate intrusive thoughts, reduce compulsive patterns, and build greater tolerance for anxiety and uncertainty.

When working with couples and relationship dynamics, Kristina uses a Gottman-informed approach to help partners recognize patterns that may be contributing to conflict or disconnection. She supports couples in improving communication, navigating conflict, increasing emotional understanding, and strengthening connection while creating space for both partners to feel heard.

Together, Kristina and her clients focus on building self-awareness, breaking unhelpful cycles, developing resilience, and creating meaningful change. She recognizes that therapy is not about having all the answers or eliminating every difficult emotion, but learning how to respond to life’s challenges in healthier and more intentional ways.

Kristina is currently accepting new clients for in-person sessions at our Pennington location and virtually throughout New Jersey.
