Annmarie Taylor LAC

Annmarie Taylor is a Licensed Associate Counselor with more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals across different stages of life. She provides therapy for adolescents and adults, bringing a compassionate, steady, and client-centered approach to her work.

Annmarie earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from The College of New Jersey and has extensive experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, OCD, life transitions, goal setting, and future planning. Her background as a high school counselor gives her a deep understanding of the academic, social, and emotional pressures adolescents face, including stress surrounding expectations, relationships, identity, transitions, and decisions about the future.

While this experience strongly informs her work with adolescents, Annmarie also works with adults navigating life transitions, emotional wellness, identity, relationships, and personal growth. She brings a thoughtful and supportive approach to helping clients gain clarity, build confidence, and develop greater resilience.

Annmarie also supports individuals with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), helping clients better understand intrusive thoughts and the OCD cycle while developing healthier ways of responding to anxiety, uncertainty, and compulsive urges.

When working with couples and relationship dynamics, Annmarie uses a Gottman-informed approach to help partners better understand the patterns contributing to conflict or disconnection. She supports couples in strengthening communication, navigating conflict, increasing emotional understanding, and building a stronger connection.

Annmarie believes that everyone needs support at different points in their lives and views counseling as a healthy and effective pathway toward emotional balance, insight, and growth. She is passionate about being an advocate and source of encouragement while helping clients move toward fulfilling, values-driven lives.

Annmarie is currently accepting new clients for in-person sessions at our Mount Laurel and Pennington locations and virtually throughout New Jersey.
