Samantha Castle LPC

Samantha Castle is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rowan University. She has experience providing care across multiple levels of treatment, including intensive outpatient settings, where she supported individuals navigating substance use concerns by strengthening motivation, developing adaptive coping strategies, and building relapse-prevention skills.

Samantha approaches therapy from a strongly person-centered and collaborative framework, placing high value on validation, normalization, and individualized care. She believes that mental health experiences do not exist in a vacuum and that effective treatment should be tailored to the individual rather than applied through a one-size-fits-all model.

Her clinical style blends client-centered therapy with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and other evidence-based approaches. Samantha works collaboratively with clients to identify meaningful goals, recognize and challenge unhelpful patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop practical skills for navigating difficult emotions and everyday stressors. She also enjoys thinking creatively about interventions and adapting therapy to each client’s strengths, learning style, and lived experience.

Samantha’s primary clinical focus includes anxiety and depressive disorders, and she also supports individuals navigating OCD, Autism and ADHD, addiction and recovery, anger, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, relationship and attachment concerns, life transitions, stress, and adjustment related to divorce or separation.

When working with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Samantha helps clients better understand intrusive thoughts and the OCD cycle while developing healthier ways of responding to anxiety, uncertainty, and compulsive urges.

Samantha also works with couples and relationship dynamics, using a Gottman-informed approach to help partners recognize patterns contributing to conflict or disconnection. She supports couples in strengthening communication, navigating conflict, increasing emotional understanding, and rebuilding connection while creating space for both partners to feel heard.

Samantha believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is an important foundation for meaningful and lasting change. Her goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel validated and empowered while also offering structured guidance, evidence-based tools, and individualized strategies that support growth.

Samantha is currently accepting new clients at our Mount Laurel location or virtually.
