Ava Bejgrowicz
LSW
Ava Bejgrowicz is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. Ava began her career in behavioral health, working across a variety of settings where she provided crisis intervention and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to best support her clients.
Ava is passionate about creating a space where clients feel safe to be their authentic selves, while working together to build skills that foster emotional resilience and self-trust. She takes a whole-person approach, recognizing that each individual’s experiences, identity, and needs are unique.
Ava works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, AuDHD, eating disorders, and life stressors. She has a strong focus on supporting individuals struggling with perfectionism, rigid thinking, and people-pleasing patterns, helping clients reconnect with their sense of self and make empowered, values-based decisions.
Ava is an LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent-affirming therapist who is committed to providing inclusive, affirming care. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and integrates approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, and skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Her work is grounded in evidence-based care, helping clients better understand their thought patterns, unpack feelings of guilt and shame, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Ava is also expanding her clinical skills in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and is excited to incorporate this work into her treatment of OCD. As she continues to grow as a clinician, she is also exploring work with couples, bringing her same thoughtful, collaborative approach into relationship dynamics.
Ava is currently accepting virtual clients, with daytime and evening availability on weekdays. If you’re interested in seeing if Ava may be a good fit, she welcomes you to schedule a phone consultation to connect and take the next step.
