Bridget Smith

LAC, NCC

Bridget is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) who earned her Master's degree in Counseling from The College of New Jersey. She is passionate about helping adolescents, young adults, and adults navigate life's challenges in a supportive and compassionate environment.

Bridget works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief and loss, emotional trauma, emotion regulation challenges, and life transitions. She also welcomes clients seeking faith-based counseling, incorporating spiritual beliefs and values into treatment when requested by the client.

Bridget creates a space where clients feel safe, supported, and understood. She believes therapy should be a collaborative process where clients can openly explore their experiences, develop insight, and build practical coping skills to navigate everyday life with greater confidence and resilience.

Bridget utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring treatment to the unique needs of each client. She works collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful patterns, process difficult experiences, strengthen emotional regulation skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Bridget is committed to ongoing professional growth and evidence-based practice. She is currently expanding her training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD and growing her work with couples and relationship concerns as she continues to develop her clinical skills.

Bridget is supervised by Katie Munger, LPC, and values ongoing collaboration, supervision, and professional development to ensure she is providing high-quality, evidence-based care.

Bridget offers both in-person therapy at our Mount Laurel office and virtual sessions throughout New Jersey.
