Courtney Henson MSW, LCSW

Courtney Henson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience providing individual therapy to adolescents and adults. She brings a thoughtful, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy, believing that meaningful change happens when insight is paired with practical, real-world tools.

Courtney earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and integrates a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based practices, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her work is grounded in helping clients better understand their emotions while developing actionable strategies they can apply in daily life.

Courtney views being a therapist as a privilege and is honored to support clients through both their most challenging and most meaningful moments. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel empowered to build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and move toward the life they want. She believes therapy is a shared journey and values walking alongside clients as they gain greater clarity, connection, and fulfillment.

She enjoys working with teens and adults, with a particular passion for supporting young and middle-aged women navigating life transitions. Clients often seek Courtney’s support when feeling overwhelmed by difficult emotions, major changes, or questions related to identity and self-understanding.

Outside of the therapy room, Courtney enjoys gardening, attending yoga and Pilates classes, spending time with her family at the Jersey Shore, rewatching The Office, reading whenever she can, and cuddling with her two cats.
