Sara Palatnik

LAC, MT-BC

Sara Palatnik is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and Board Certified Music Therapist who earned both of her degrees from Elizabethtown College. Sara is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges within a supportive, compassionate, and welcoming environment.

Sara takes a person-centered approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and creative therapeutic interventions tailored to each individual’s unique needs. She believes that therapy is never a one-size-fits-all approach, and that each client deserves an experience that honors their strengths, goals, and personal journey.

Sara values creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported while exploring challenges and building skills for meaningful growth. Through strong therapeutic relationships, she works collaboratively with clients to foster self-expression, emotional resilience, healing, and confidence.

As a Board Certified Music Therapist, Sara also brings creativity and flexibility into her work, recognizing that healing and self-expression can take many forms. She strives to help clients discover tools and approaches that feel authentic and meaningful to them.

Sara is also committed to continuing to grow as a clinician, expanding her skills in evidence-based practices for OCD treatment and developing her work with couples therapy. She values ongoing learning and is dedicated to providing thoughtful, effective, and individualized care that continues to evolve alongside her clients’ needs.

Sara’s mission is to create a safe and welcoming space where clients can grow, heal, and improve their overall quality of life while feeling supported every step of the way.
