Jaclyn Papa MS, LCADC

Jackie is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor who provides virtual therapy for adults and couples throughout New Jersey, including men and women seeking support for substance use, trauma, emotional regulation, and life transitions.

She brings a compassionate, trauma-informed, and holistic approach to treatment and has experience working across a variety of clinical settings, including re-entry services for incarcerated individuals, partial care programs, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), health education, and private practice.

Jackie’s therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. She works collaboratively with clients to build insight, identify internal and external triggers, and develop practical tools to manage difficult emotions and patterns related to addiction, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD.

While Jackie has a strong passion for women’s mental health, she works with clients of all genders and understands how trauma can impact daily functioning, relationships, and brain processes. Her approach is strengths-based and focused on treating the whole person, not just symptoms.

Jackie earned her Master of Science in Counseling with a specialization in Addiction and Trauma from Grand Canyon University.

Outside of her clinical work, Jackie enjoys traveling, being a mother, and fostering medically fragile and special-needs cats.
