Samantha Castle MA, LPC
Samantha Castle is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rowan University. She has experience providing care across multiple levels of treatment, including intensive outpatient settings, where she supported individuals navigating substance use concerns by strengthening motivation, developing adaptive coping strategies, and building relapse-prevention skills.
Samantha approaches therapy from a strongly person-centered and collaborative framework, placing high value on validation, normalization, and individualized care. She believes that mental health experiences do not exist in a vacuum and that effective treatment must be tailored to the individual rather than applied through a one-size-fits-all model. She works collaboratively with clients to identify goals that feel meaningful and attainable, while thoughtfully integrating evidence-based interventions to meet each client’s unique needs.
Her clinical style blends client-centered therapy with cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and other empirically supported approaches. Samantha places particular emphasis on helping clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop practical skills for navigating stressors. She also enjoys thinking creatively about interventions and adapting them in ways that align with each client’s strengths, learning style, and lived experience.
Samantha’s primary clinical focus includes anxiety and depressive disorders, and she also works with a wide range of concerns, including Autism and ADHD, addiction, anger management, bipolar and unipolar depression, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, relationship and attachment-related distress, life transitions, stress management, communication difficulties, and adjustment related to divorce or separation.
Samantha believes that a strong therapeutic alliance is one of the most important predictors of meaningful and lasting change. Her goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel validated and empowered, while also offering structured guidance, evidence-based tools, and individualized strategies to support growth and improved functioning.
